INGREDIENTS:
- 1 pound butter (softened)
- 3 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups + 1/5 cup flour
- Pinch of salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- Chocolate chips (measure with your heart!)
PREP:
- Measure the flour, salt, and baking soda. Combine them in a bowl and set aside.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter. Add the brown sugar and sugar, and mix until fully combined.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and as many chocolate chips as you'd like. Mix thoroughly.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 9 minutes.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Enjoy warm!
