THE BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pound butter (softened)
  • 3 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups + 1/5 cup flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • Chocolate chips (measure with your heart!)

PREP:

  1. Measure the flour, salt, and baking soda. Combine them in a bowl and set aside.
  2. In another bowl, cream the softened butter. Add the brown sugar and sugar, and mix until fully combined.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract and as many chocolate chips as you'd like. Mix thoroughly.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 9 minutes.
  7. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Enjoy warm!
